Michael J. McGlynn is the Mayor of Medford, Massachusetts. He has been mayor since 1988.[1] He also served from 1977- 1988 as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives representing the 37th Middlesex District (Medford/Malden).[1]

McGlynn graduated from Arlington Catholic High School in 1971. He then attended University of Massachusetts Boston where he graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/ History.[1]
McGlynn is married to Sheila (Halmkin) McGlynn and they have 3 daughters, Kathleen, Jennifer, and Amanda.[1] He is the son of former Medford Mayor & City Councilor John McGlynn.
McGlynn has made a number of successful contributions as Mayor for the city of Medford in his last 20 years in office.
